Ithilwen nodded. "He's my husband," she explained.

Fainiel gazed at her for a while. "Oh, I see, it took me longer to got it all." She smiled nervously.

Ithilwen smiled. "Not a problem," she said. "My family tree can get rather ... confusing at times." Just please, she thought, don't ask me about my parents!

Fainiel nodded. "It is probably the only reason of the family trees, confusing those, who aren't members of the family." She gazed at Ithilwen again, she seemed quite.... Fainiel couldn't express it exactly, but maybe focusing on avoiding something should be the right words,

Ithilwen had to laugh at this. "Perhaps," she said. "So ... what brings you to Rivendell?"

Fainiel laughed: "I was born and raised here." Then he face became more serious. "But actually I've travelled more than it was really healthy for me. I've returned home before the things went darker."

Ithilwen smiled. "I, too, have done more travelling than is healthy," she replied. She gestured to her eye. "I've decided to stay here in Rivendell, for now."

Fainiel shrugged. "I'd love to travel again. Rivendell is so.... crowded."

Ithilwen laughed. "Rivendell is croweded?" she asked, surprised. "Then Lothlorien must be a ghost town!" She shook her head, remembering all the people who had left.

Fainiel smiled. "Not exactly. I meant, Rivendell seems to be the last refugee for a lot of Elves and Lothlorien is much bigger anyway."
OOC: Sorry, I wanted to stay longer online yesterday, but there was a storm here and my computer was a bit nervous (not as much as my freind's horse, but that's another story)

Ithilwen shrugged. "Good point," she said. She hadn't thought of that! "At any rate, Rivendell has seen its share of people leaving, as well. You should have seen it just a decade ago!"

Fainiel nodded. "There has been a lot of leaving recent times, but I still think I should try to cross the mountains, altough it could be dangerous for me." She usually said her plans aloud, mostly there was nobody around to hear them.

Ithilwen raised an eyebrow. "You plan on crossing the mountains?" she asked, shocked. She put a hand on Fainiel's shoulder. "Fainiel, please, take my advice. Take it from someone who knows, and don't go!"

Fainiel shrugged. "I know it is probably more dangerous than I could imagine." she said sadly, "but I've planned to join the Dúnedains group, there are some rumours they are gathering and preparing to join Ellesar." she added to calm her a bit. She still wanted to go, even all alone.

"Elessar?" Ithilwen asked. "Who's Elessar? And it is far more dangerous than you can imagine -- especially for a young, unattended, female Elf!"
