Nimmir stood up and walked over. "Thank Eru," she whispered and held a now screaming Naru to her shoulder. "My lord," she whispered. "She's... worse than she was..." she said this quietly, so even Ithilwen couldn't hear over Glauron.
"Nothing," he whispered. "You're home."

Elrond raised an eyebrow, watching Ithilwen clutch her twins to her chest and wave her knife threateningly at Glauron.
She was now screaming at him. "Don't give me that!" she cried. "I know they must have done something, for you would not betray me, otherwise! What have they done to you?!" She was still crying, but her eye was furious, not sad. And, always, it flashed with her insanity.

"She won't listen to us..." Nimmir covered her hand and gritted her teeth. "Will you be quiet little one!" she nearly shouted and covered her eyes with one hand.
Elrond took a deep breath, and gently took the knife from her hands. "Ithilwen!" he said with a stern but fimilar voice. "Enough."

But it wasn't enough. She hadn't heard him come up, and was startled by his sudden appearance. She spun around, leaving a gash in his upper arm -- not deep, or dangerous, but certainly painful. "Stay away from me!" she cried, backing up to face this new threat.
Her twins' cries finally reached her ears, but she mistook them for being distressed about the situation, being with so many strangers that meant them harm, not their mother's behavior. She tried to soothe them, but was having a hard time doing that and keeping track of everyone. Like in Edoras, she was reduced to jerking her head around rapidly, trying to see everyone with her one good eye at the same time. There was murder in her eye.

Nimmir took a deep breath and walked foreword, sure to make noise and approach slowly from where her good eye was. "Ithilwen," she whispered. "Ithwilen, lets escape. " Glauron looked at her horrified, but she stopped. "Through that door is home... it's a portal... leards right to your house... it breaks the ilusion."

Ithilwen looked at Nimmir, recognizing her, but horrified by what she was saying. "We can't do that!" she hissed under her breath, eyeing Elrond and Glauron suspiciously. "They're watching us. If what you say is true," and her face showed she hadn't yet brought the story, "they'll try and stop us!" OOC: that was smart, btw. didn't work, but smart!

<They're just orcs> she told her. <They can't understand Quenya...> she was learning the language and thought it might help if she spoke in it. <I'll distract them... take the babes and go...>

She looked at Nimmir, surprised. So she had been right . . . <No, Nimmir,> she answered in the same language, and waited all the time to be stopped. Whether they understood or not, Orcs didn't like their prisoners speaking with one another. Especially when they didn't understand! <You don't know, don't understand . . . > She eyed the "orcs" suspiciously, then gave her twins to Nimmir. <You go,> she said. <I'll distract them, and you go! You can bring help. I don't even know where we are!>

Nimmir stopped and she handed the twins over and patted her leg which was where her knife was. Glauron grabbed her shoulders and thanked him silently and she had Ithilwen run. <Go!> She shouted, unsheathing her blade.
Elrond on the other hand, ran the other way, getting ready to go through the front door and be waiting there.

Ithilwen was about to argue more, but she saw the Orc that was Glauron attack Nimmir. "Nimmir!" she cried out, then saw her draw her blade. Quickly, she turned and ran, sobbing from the betrayal of leaving her friend, but at the same time needing to keep her children safe.

"You're just causing problems," Glauron said before releasing her, seeing the door close. He bolted. "Tell her I'm at work!" Nimmir bolted into the house, and smiled hugging Ithilwen. "You did it," she whispered. "We're safe at home..." she pretended to cry into her shoulder, but held her...

Ithilwen looked around. "Home?" she asked, tentatively. She still clutched the twins to her tightly. "Where's Glauron?"

One of the servants blinked. "Milday you're back!" she said and hugged her tightly. Cook blinked and smiled, looking back and took a deep breath.
"M'lord is at work... waiting for you..."

Ithilwen looked at him. "Is this really home?" she asked, not daring to believe in case it wasn't. The madness hadn't left her eye.

Cook nodded and wiped a tear and nodded. "This is home," he whispered. "Where else is there still the stench of baby..." he stopped and blushed. "Where else do your babes see as home?" he asked and sighed. Nimmir nodded. "We gave birth in there..." she whispered, and leaned against the wall, gently touching the tapistry that she had woven, not even meaning to.
