She shivered and nodded, kissing his cheek. "We all knew that as soon as we knew of the ring," she whispered and took his hands. "Come... I want to know where my son is."

Nimmir was taken aback and then stopped, grabbing his arm. "And... and if Naru is gone..." her voice caught in her throat. "Then I'll be there with you."

"I know I'll be safer, but I won't be happier," she told him. "I'm coming with you if Naru is not in my arms." She took his hand and led him to Elrond's chambers. He admitted her, a grim look on his face, and it wasn't for Errie. He already knew, already seen.

"What of Naru," she whispered. "What of my son..." Elrond sat her down, like he had when he was going to tell her that Naru was to be born. "Nimmir... he's gone..." Nimmir blinked, not understanding. She was crying.
"Nimmir, he's joined the enemy..." It was the last thing she heard before she fainted.

Eramrath watched Nimmir faint in the chair. he ran to her side, and put his hand on her forehead. "She's fine...just from the shock..." he whispered. "I knew this would happen..." he silentley swore. He had had worse shock than this, which is why he wasn't over-reacting.

He sighed. "Elrond, when you have seen what I have seen. you'd come to excpect this. I saw it before. With the women who were raped in the first age. You were onley a child..." he explained. "Thier sons and daughters turned juuust this way." Eramrath sighed, picking up Nimmir. "Keep in mind...I am an age older than you are. I am older than your great grand-mother...Tunivel. I knew your forefathers when they were children..."

"Are you throwing that in my face, Eramrath?" he asked, his eyebrow raised. He looked at Nimmir pity in his eyes.
Nimmir moaned and rolled her head to her husband's shoulder.
