Nimmir had come back home after staying with Alagos, Glauron and Laur for a week. She walked the garden playing her pipes. It was a haunting tune, but a happy one all the say. She swayed from side to side as she walked on her way home.

Eramrath saw Nimmir come home, and decided to wait for her. She looked quite happy and didn't want to disturb her.

She smiled and lowered her pipes. "Hello," she called and wove her hand. She put the pipes back to her lips and finished the song.

"Good," she whispered and took his hand, putting the pipes back at her waist. She kissed his cheek and leaned against him. "I'm glad that they're home."

Eramrath nodded, and said no more about it. "How are you feeling?" he asked, putting a hand to her stomach. "And did Glauron take it well?"

Nimmir smiled and closed her eyes as he touched her stomach. She smiled, it felt warmer than it normally did. "He was happy for us," she whispered and touched his hand. "And I'm hungry... can we please eat?"

Eramrath laughed. "Of course we can." he smiled. "But...no weird concoctions, okay?"

Eramrath breathed a sigh of releif, leading Nimmir into the house. "There's fresh fruit in a bowl on the table, if youd' like." he pointed out. "I'll be just a second." Eramrath said, walking into the bedroom, and opened his closet. There, in a red-wood box, lay his sword that kept him alive for centuries. "Caranwaith." He whispered to the black sword. "Please hear my call. I have a child on the way, and if I am not there to protect her...you will protect her in my stead." Eramrath finsidhed, slipping a green book into the box.

Niimir reached into the bowl and picked up an apple. She sat the table and tapped her fingers on the table. She clsoed her eyes and thought for a moment.
"Something's coming," she whispered and loked out the window. "The air's tense..."

Eramrath came into the kitchen. He felt something odd...it was the same feeling he had before the Kinslaying. He looked out the wondow and saw nothing. "Can you feel that?" he asked.

Nimmir nodded and shivered. "I don't like it," she whispered and got up. She walked over to him pressing herself agianst him. "It feels like... like it felt coming home... before I was rapped.." she shivered and buried her face into his chest.

Eramrath kissed her head. "I know that feeling. It's like....before the kinslaying. But....why does it feel worse? Like somebody close is going to die." he pondered. "Don't listen to me, love. We're safe in Rivendell..."
