Cursing

I don't think anyone really knows where we stand on the subject of curse words, so I decided to explain: Since this board is kept at a PG-13 rating, it is okay to curse. Words such as "damn" "hell" and "shit", as well as "bitch" are fine to use in moderation! I do not want to see posts where every other word is a curse word. Shall we say no more than three per post? I think that's reasonable ... The "f-word" is not allowed. You know exactly what word I'm talking about. Some people find it offensive, and, quite frankly, it doesn't belong in Tolkien's world. Slang words, too, are allowed -- mild slang words, that is. Calling someone a "slut" (in a friendly, non-insulting way, of course) is perfectly acceptable. Calling them a "p*ssy" is not. No racial slurs will be tolerated!! Words such as "n*gger" are based in ignorance and hate -- two qualities not tolerated here at RoA. Anyone using any (real-life) racial slur will immediately be banned, no questions asked. I say real-life, because if your Orc character calls someone else's Elf character a "tree-rat" (a racial slur against Elves I've seen somewhere, maybe a fanfic?), it's hardly offensive to anyone, now, is it? Please keep these guidelines in mind, and reply to this thread to tell me what you think!
