I was just going through one of my favorite LotR forums, The Barrow-Downs, and looking at the quotes. Every time you go to a new page, a quote from the Books come up. It can be from the LotR trilogy, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales, just about anything! So I thought it might be nice to compose a list of memorable quotes from the various Tolkien books, for people's use in sigs, or anything you want them for. Have one you like that's missing from the list? PM me and I'll get it up!
Most quotes are from The Barrow Downs.
The Silmarillion
The Hobbit
The Fellowship of the Ring
The Two Towers
