I'm writing up a character. My main problem is that I do not know "that" much about Tolkien and I am trying my best to think of a character that would fit well. So I did not forget about you, far from that, I'm just taking my time -Kim

When you do, we'll be glad to have you! Edit: some sites that I find helpful (and you may, too!) are The Encyclopaedia of Arda (an encyclopaedia, where you can look up any race, person, place, weapon, anything you don't know in any of Tolkien's books), and The Council of Elrond ( contains a much more detailed encyclopaedia, but it's harder to use, also resources for naming your character and translating Sindarin, Quenya, Rohirric, even Black Speech and Noldorin. Also contains an extensive media gallery, including member-made art, some of which is quite good. And resources for understanding the LotR books, as well as others.)
