By no means an exausted list, this is the bare minimum you should have. Please be as detailed as possible (ex: 'long, wavy brunette hair' instead of 'dark hair'). Please read the Rules before posting and role-playing. You might also want to take a quick peek at the Encyclopaedia, since it contains info you might find useful in creating your character. - Name: include meaning*
- Race: Dwarf, Elf, Human, etc.
- Subrace: ex: Silvan Elf, Rohirrim, etc. if applicable!
- Gender: male / female / neither?
- Appearance: What do they look like? Be detailed!
- Personality: What do they act like? Are they friendly? mean? airheaded? grouchy? cynical? paranoid? agressive? just plain goofy?
- Background: Where are they from? Who are their parents? What was their childhood like?
- Anything Else: For those juicy details about your character that make them come alive!
( *Note: You can find a good list of name generators, most that also give meanings, under the Encyclopaedia.)

As stated in the Rules, it's nice to include a graphic of some sort of your character in your signature or avatar. A lot of people do this in pixel doll form. However, not everyone has the time or talent to make a doll that they're happy with! So, to fill this need, a lot of sites have started what's called "doll-makers", which is kinda like a paper doll, only you use your mouse to click on and drag clothing, jewelry, etc. over your "base". Here's a list of good dollmakers: - My Dollmaker: I don't think it wrong to post my own dollmaker first, do you? lol Made especially for my other RPG, it is a fantasy dollmaker.
- www.over-the-moon.org/dollz/: Josie's Dollz has two very good dollmakers, although the Devika one will get you more fantasy-type dolls than the B-base one.
- www.xandorra.co.uk/: Xandorra has one dollmaker (under "doll factory"), but it's awesome, and specifically fantasy themed. The only one I actually took the time to make a doll with.
- www.dollzmania.com/: A good site with about 50 million dollmakers, all preps. May have to mix and match from different dollmakers
- www.angelfire.com/ego/evilspicesdolls/DollMakers/FairyDrop/FairyDrop.html: VERY impressive prep dollmaker -- the best I've seen so far, ever. Good for fantasy-themed dolls, including the jungle-like "figleaf" look.
- www.bunnysneezes.net/page52.html: Pretty basic prep dollmaker. Good quality bases, though. (in other words, no ugly black outline)
- maxpages.com/dollmagic/?set=pbodys4: good dollmaker, confusing layout. Basically, you choose which page you want to go to from the drop-down menus at the top, choose which parts you want, drag them into the box, and go somewhere else. Whatever you drag into the box, stays there. You can also join their gallery, although it's not necessary to make dolls.
- www.geocities.com/willajean1/interactive1.html: Another dollmaker (not prep). Not very impressive, mainly up here because it's not a prep dollmaker. Also includes links to other dollmakers (although they call them "KISS dolls" and "interactive web paperdoll").
- www.websitemaker.kennisnet.nl/dollz12/frameset.htm: Good site, but in French. Look to the left, though, in the navigation bar, and seventh down is "dollmaker". Excellent style base, excellent dollmaker, little to no fantasy content, still very cool.
- www.geocities.com/d0llzz_dollmaker/: Another (not prep) dollmaker, some fantasy content, not very impressive base; but, hey, at least it isn't another prep-maker!
- www.angelfire.com/super/astro_flight/glitterfairyzmaker.html: Non-prep maker, of the silent variety. Silents are dolls that are super-tiny, so small they don't have room for a mouth (hence the name). Good variety of styles and colors, mainly for fairies, but can also be used for fantasy dolls. WARNING -- plays music. Stop button can be found at the bottom of the page.
- dollz.startkabel.nl/k/dollz/index.php?nr=1: NOT a dollmaker site, just a huge database of dollmaker links, some of which are listed above. Some are good, some aren't, some don't even work, almost all are preps. Whatever, I just decided to give you the URL, so you can decide what to do with it.
Now, this list is by no means exausted, so if you have a favorite dollmaker you think should be up here, feel free to PM me with the URL!
