Ithilwen shrugged. "I'm used to danger," she said, gesturing toward her eye. "And I was there for the siege. It was scary, but hardly the worse I've been through. Trust me, a few gloomy words won't get me upset!" she chuckled.

Merwin giggled, though not very high-pitched as it probably could have been."Fine then, I trust you. I mean, it really is pointless, though. If they ever finally have the chance to have the power they want, there might be nothing left to have power over!" she took a breath."Which comes to prove that wars are probably pointless, unless you are merely trying to defend yourself."

Ithilwen shook her head. "It's not the conquering," she explained. "Although that is part of it. It's the control of the individual. If the Dark Lord could cover the land in his shadow, enslaving every Eldar, his purpose would be completed."

Mirwen though for a moment."I suppose so..." she admitted. After a moment of silence, she finally spoke again, the subject much different than before."Do Glauron and yourself have any children?"

Ithilwen nodded. "Twins, a boy and a girl, Alagos and Laur." She smiled. "And one on the way."

She smiled. "Yes, we are," she said. "They have both turned into fine children."

Mirwen nodded."How could they not, with such a kind mother?" she smiled.
OOC: Note how the change of conversation has resulted in lots of smiling.....

"I have green, black, and oolong tea." she said. She stood up and nearly walked into the hall."Oh, yes. I forgot why I said that..." she laughed."What kind of tea would you like?"

"Green is fine, thank you," Ithilwen said, smiling. "Actually, do you have chamomile?" Her time to give birth was soon, and she had been bothered by cramps.
