Landion came to his wife. The hot flashes, the dizzyness, the vomiting, and now the cravings, all made sense. He drew her close, and put his hand over her womb. "Alya," he said. "What's in there?"

Alya looked at him, then at her stomach, and began to cry. "I'll kill it," she sobbed into his shoulder. "It'll die like the last one," she said, fear in her voice.

She smiled, wipping her eyes, "Landion, were going to have a child," she told him, "I'm pregnant," she smiled, sitting back in her seat, hand on her stomach.

He smiled with her. "We must tell people!" he said, then stopped. Who would they tell? Nimmir and Elrond, and that was about it.

Alya kissed his cheek, "We can, later," she laughed, "I want to make breakfast," she said, dismissing cook. "We should celebrate, what do you want?" she asked, "And apple cobblar and eel is not a choice," she laughed, stedding herself on the counter.
