She cried, "But I don't want to, I just want Ithilwen," she whispered, "I want to stay here. Can't she come home? Whu wouldn't she come back. A family is a good enough reason, right?" she asked. She was despirate, and was grabbing at straws.

Landion shook his head. "You know that that's not how it works," he reasoned. "Once an Elda dies, she spends time in the Halls of Mandos, recovering. When she is ready, she is given a new hroa. But, my dear, she stays in Valinore. You know that!"

He shook his head. "I don't know," he said. He hoped his wife had forgotten about the other people who had disappeared!

She sighed, "What about that girl that worked at the forge? The one that disapered with her? And Naru?" she asked. "And Din? what about them?" she asked him.

Landion hesitated. "They didn't come back, either," he said, purposefully misunderstanding the question.

He shook his head. "No, they're not," he said. "Well ... Sidhiel, remember, the girl who worked at the forge? She is."

"They ... they're still there," he said, hedging. He didn't know how his wife would handle the truth, in her current state of mind.

Alya shook her head, "So Ithilwen killed more..." she trailed off, "Sidhiel was..." he hand flew to her mouth, "But why? Why would she do such a thing?" she asked, begining to cry again.

He held her again. This wasn't going to be easy. "She wasn't really Sidhiel, but Vanmoriel, a spy for the Witch-king," he explained. "Come to find out, Din, also, worked for the Witch-king, although not as actively. They were ordered to ... bring Ithilwen's twins to Dol Guldur, as well as Naru. Ithilwen and Glauron pursued them, and so were caught. Sidhiel was ... never fond of your sister."
