"Oh, very good." she said walking along the path with her sister. "This place is very nice." she said smiling.

She smiled. "Thank you," she said, relaxing. Perhaps her sister had mellowed in the centuries since they had last seen each other. "I'd let you meet Glauron, too, but he's at work."

"Very well," she smiled, "so, what does he do? Is he an Advisor? Maybe a Herald?" she was having fun guessing.

Ithilwen suddenly remembered that Alya didn't know who Glauron was. "He's the head blacksmith in Rivendell," she said, with pride. "One day, he will reforge Narsil." It was only after she said it that she remembered her sister's feelings on Humans.

"He's a what?" she said stopping. "I'm sorry. my hearing must be off. I think I just heared you say he was a blacksmith. Ithy, you are a noble, what were you thinking?" she was furiouse. "And one that will put a human in a place that he is to foolish to fill in the first place!"

Ithilwen turned stubborn. She had been through a lot to marry Glauron, and she was certainly not going to allow her own flesh and blood to insult him like this. "Yes, he is a blacksmith," she said. "He is also now a lord, a noble. But he still works as a blacksmith because it is what he loves, not from any need. He loves me and takes care of me. Almost every piece of jewelry I own he made for me!"

"He takes care of you?" she snorted, "Well, I guess that is why you are skin and bones. Because a blacksmith is taking care of you." she didn't want to see her sister married to someone of such low stature. It made her skin crawl.

Ithilwen snorted back. "He is a blacksmith, yes, but a noble one. We have plenty of money," she said. "And the reason I'm skin and bones is because I recently spent five months enslaved to an Orc!"

"Well, I'm sure he loved being apointed to a noble becuase he married you!" she yelled. "Now, why don't we change the subject! I want to meet my new family!" she was still yelling. She didn't like yelling. It made her throat hurt and made her voice sound funny.

Ithilwen didn't like Alya yelling, either. "You may not," she said, "because I do not know where they are and what they are doing. And, now, if you would like, I will show you your new niece and nephew. But only if you do not yell, because they are taking their nap." She stomped her foot for emphasis.

"Fine," she said, lowering her voice. "I will be quite, and not yell." she hated being told what to do. It made her frustrated, but she would do as she was told for now.

"Good," Ithilwen said. "If you will follow me." She was still tense from their fight, but was trying hard to act casual. Mentally, she pulled in her claws and led her sister to her babies.

She smiled at the two, sleeping. "They are so adorable!" she whispered. They were to. It made any tension inside from her fight with her sister melt away. "Aww, look, she's sucking her thumb! So sweet!" she couldn't stop gushing over them.

Praise for her children made Ithilwen's tension melt away. "Thank you," she said, gushing maternal pride. She reached down and stroked Cali's hair.

"But, I thought Glauron meant golden? So why do the children have black hair?" she asked looking at the beautiful balck hair of both children.
