Nimmir saw the children and gasped. Not at the harp, but it was the blood on the boys that caught her eyes. "What happened?" she asked, and walked foreword, wiping blood from Alagos's temple.
Naru moved the harp behind him, and looked down, his own eye blossoming with a black eye. "Naru..."

Agalos shuffled his feet, no longer the antagonist. "We had a fight," he said, bowing his head. Laur sniffed, upset.

"Laur," she told her. "Dear, go home... I'll deal with the boys." She looked at them. "Naru you bit him!" she glared at her son. "I told you never do that!" She wrapped Alagos's finger and sighed. "And you," she turned to her newphew. "Don't act innocent, I know you tease him..." she sat them both on the bench and gawked.
"My harp..." she whispered, taking the borken pieces in her hands.

Agalos shuffled his feet, still bowing his head. He honestly was horrified at what he and his cousin had done. "I'm real sorry, Aunt Nimmir," he said, humbly. He watched Naru out of the corner of his eye, to see what he would do.

Naru looked at his feet. "Mother..." he stopped when she cut him off. "Go to your room Naru," she whispered. "Alagos... go home..." she shook gently and took the broken pieces in her hand, leaving them alone, not even seeing where they went.
Naru was near tears and covered his face. "She's gonna hate me too," he whispered and stuck his fist in his mouth to keep from crying.

Agalos obeyed his aunt and went home, but Laur did not. Instead, she went to her cousin. She heard him whisper something to himself and bite his own fist. "Whatcha doin' that for?" she asked him.

"So I don't cry," he whispered and looked away. "Really I'm sorry... tell uncle... I don't wanna see him for a while... he already doesn't like me..." he sighed and didn't look at her.

Laur snorted. "Ada likes you plenty!" she said. "So does Nana. And it's okay if you cry, you just broke your Nana's favorite harp!" She put her arms around him comfortingly, like she had seen the grown-ups do.

"But boys don't cry," he defended himself and sighed. "And well..." he removed his hand. It was littered with scares from having bitten it. "You know... most people don't like be because of my Ada."

Laur snorted. "Boys do too cry!" she said. "Agalos cried when he hit his hand with the hammer in Ada's forge! And Ada cries when Nana talks about her scars." She hugged him. "And I like you! No matter who your Ada is!"

He looked up at her and sighed. "Well then, orcs, don't," she whispered and looked awa and bit her lip.

Laur shook her head, frustrated with her cousin. "Did brother hurt you bad?" she asked, changing the subject, a little diplomat already.

"No," he said, shaking his head. "I hope I didn't hurt him bad.." he looked at his cousin. "He's not all that strong... he doesn't have Uncle's arms yet."

Laur nodded sagely. "You do, though," she said, admiring her cousin's already-considerable muscle mass. "An' I hope you did. He needs to stop picking on you."

He looked up and smiled gently. "Nana and Eramrath say I need to be careful," he said gently. "They don't want me hurting anyone..." he sighed. "I don't want him picking on me, but I don't want to hurt him."
