Finn, please
Vanmoriel sat in the Library. She just couldn't take people any more. All so happy, going about their perfect lives in this perfect place, so perfectly happy it made her want to vomit. So, she came to the one place she could at least have a chance of not seeing a lot of people -- the Library. She had always liked to read, anyway.
So, she propped herself up in a chair with a good book, and began to read, watching any person who happened to be in the Library with her. People annoyed her, but also fascinated her.

Din drifted into the library. It wasn't how she usually walked. She usually had a spring to her step...but, she just couldn't bear to be happy anymore. The one person whom actually meant something to her died right infront of her eyes. She saw a dark looking elf sitting on a chair and reading a book. "What are you doing here?" she snapped. "It's too late to be in the library." Din hissed. OUtside rain began to fall.

Vanmoriel raised an eyebrow. Normally she'd reply in a cheery way, but she just wasn't in the mood. "Hmmm, I don't know what I'm doing in the Library," she hissed back sarcastically. "Maybe reading a book?" She looked back at her book, not acknowledging the young elf's prescense. "If it's so late, what are you doing in the Library, anyway?"

"I was merley going home." Din retorted. "And, unless you are hiding under a rock, the weather is quite wet outside. Mother does not like me getting wet!"

Vanmoriel was not in the mood for this! She was one of the Witch-king's most prized spies, she didn't have to take this! Of course, this girl-child had no way of knowing that, but still . . . . She shrugged, pretending indifference, and went back to reading her book. Totally ignoring the Elf. Maybe she'd get the hint and go away.

Din would not leave. She then realised something. "Hey! I know you! I saw you in Minas Morgul once! Mistress Finnar called you a wealkling spy! Show me your arm!" Din said, indicating where the Witchking branded most of his troops. She had seen it on Finnar, and she had a brand, too.

Vanmoriel raised an eyebrow, but complied. "A weakling spy, eh?" she said, angry but controlling it. "I'm also the only thing the Witch-king has going for him in Rivendell right now."

"That's what you think." Din said, with a smirk on her face. "You should be more aware, for a spy." she scolded the elf like a little child.

Now Vanmoriel was really mad. Being taken to task by a girl-child, a little Elfling with nothing better to do than sulk out of the rain and boss her betters around. But, still, she was able to control it. "What makes you think that I am not?" she asked. "Oh, and thank you for telling me you recognized me. Knowing who I am is a definite security breach. I can't have you running off and telling all the little kiddies in your playgroup who I am." She shook her head. "Convince me that you can keep a secret, and I won't kill you now." She showed the girl her dagger. One thing she had been taught well was the art of throwing the things.

Din sneered. "Is that all you can throw at me?" she smirked, knowing very well that the Witchking had planned ahed that Din be taught the Dark Arts. {Go on, I dare you!} she teased in Black speech, not even moving.

Well, Vanmoriel wasn't expecting that! But, if the little Elf insisted . . . she threw the dagger, aiming right between the eyes. The dagger flew true.

Din blinked, and caught the dagger between her hands. "Just a taste of my power." She said with a grin.

Vanmoriel lifted an eyebrow. She was fast! Vanmoriel was impressed. Without blinking, she sent too more daggers at the girl.

Din kept the same poker-face, catching the second dagger thrown at her with her left hand (the first was in her right), and the third one in between her teeth. She dropped them to the ground, awaiting more sharp objects to be thrown at her.

That was all for now. Vanmoriel was very impressed! "Where did you learn to fight like that?" she asked.
