Elrond raised an eyebrow at her odd behavior, but didn't say anything. "That is good," he said, nodding. He put down his tray of medicines and herbs. "How are you feeling?"

"Allright, just my side hurts, but I suppose that is to be expected" She looked up at him.

He thanked her, then gently unwrapped the bandages. He started massaging the mixture into the wound. "It is healing nicely," he told her. "No infection, or poisoning." At her look, he laughed. "I have decided not to rule anything out." He finished up, and started re-wraping the wound with fresh bandages.

He shook his head. "I was hoping that you would," he admitted. His eyes flashed -- he did not like a rogue Elven archer, working within his House!

Mariana shook her head "I can honestly say I was not the most popular when I lived here. But I can think of no elf that would want me dead"

Elrond rose an eyebrow. "You lived here?" he asked, and shook his head. "I have no memory of you."

"Maybe forty years ago, I don't keep much track of time anymore. There is no need." Mariana looked out the window, she didn't like talking about her time here.

Elrond got the hint and dropped it. He looked to Ithilwen. "Do you, perhaps, know of anyone capable of this?" Ithilwen indicated that she did not.
Elrond nodded, plans of how to strengthen the defenses already running through his head.

Mariana looked back at Elrond "Do you know how long it will take for the wound to heal?"
