She thought about it, and shook her head. "Ever since my . . . ordeal, the weight of the world has weighed heavy on me," she said. "I'd be happy to stay, but I have been looking forward to seeing the shores of Valinore."

"If you want it, then say the word and we'll be gone before the next full moon," he whispered looking at her.

Ithilwen looked at Glauron. "I cannot ask you to give all this up," she said. "Yes, I want it. But you do not. So we will stay."

"Thank you, love," he whispered. "But I can join you there... if you want it, I can join you... I'm not asking you to stay." Alagos smiled as his twin joined them, looking at their parents.
She smiled at Naru, they were friends, one of the few things the twins did not agree on was their cousin.

Ithilwen shook her head vigorously. "No!" she said. "Whatever we decide, we do it together! Glauron, I would rather spend millennia more in Middle-earth by your side than one second in Valinore without you!" She shook her head. "I'll stay." She went back to her sewing.

"If you want it, then say the word and we'll be gone before the next full moon," he whispered looking at her. "With your Aunt Nimmir and Naru... for the time being at least." He opened his arms and hugged them tightly, kissing their foreheads.

She looked at him. "Glauron, I am fine," she said. "We shall stay." But she was troubled. She had always assumed that they'd leave right after Narsil was reforged!

"And darling," he whispered, turning to look at her. "It's not named Narsil anymore... It's Anduril..." Alagos smiled.
"Mother, if only you could see it... it's so beautiful, long and sharp..." he smiled in happiness at the memory.

Ithilwen smiled at her son. "I bet it is," she said, trying to be happy for her son. And her husband. "Anduril, huh?"
Lalaithiel smiled. "Mommy, are we going away?" she asked. " 'Cause Naru says that we are . . ."

"Naru," Nimmir said gently shaking her head. Naru looked at Lalaithiel a small smile on his face, teeth showing.
"I thought you were," he whispered, voice deep for someone his age, but perfectly musical.

Ithilwen smiled. "No, we're not, not for a long time," she said. She saw Glauron shake his head, and gave him a look, brief enough that the children wouldn't see it. "Now, why don't you three go and play?"

Naru smiled and nodded, running off with his cousin, Alagos following slowly. Nimmir sighed. At least her son found some expectence. He acted nearly exactly like Eramrath.
"I'll see you later, brother."

Ithilwen nodded parting to Nimmir, then turned to Glauron. "I'm glad you have finished it," she said. SHe knew he had wanted this for a long time! "How did it go?"

"Like a dream," he whispered. "It just... fit, right back together and the grip will be like butter is Estel's hands... there are incripstions up the blade and it looks better in the sheath then it ever did on a shrine."

Ithilwen nodded. "It always looked so . . . sad, up there. Like a broken bird, wishing to take flight." She smiled up at her husband. "I wish the best for Estel! What's this I hear about a quest? And some secret Council we womenfolk aren't to know about." She batted her eyes at him, fake-innocently, like a stereotypical woman too emotionally fragile to handle anything bad.
