"Finnar is obviousley pissed at me." Din reasoned. There was no way ithilwen could counter that.

Ithilwen nodded. It was obvious, now Din had said it. "What did you do to make her that upset?" she asked.

"Who knows?" Din shrugged. "Finnar has a mind of her own..."

Ithilwen nodded, suddenly melancholy again. "You mean had . . ."

Ithilwen was going to cry again. "You said she has a mind of her own. You're using present tense."

"So? With that dagger she's still holding on..." Din explained.

Ithilwen brightened. "You're right," she said, admiring it. It was still firmly pointed at Din. Could that mean . . . naw. This was Din! She could trust her! She brushed her fingers over the beautiful runes in the crystal.

Din saw that the crystal was pointed at her. "I thinks it's about time for us to put Finnar in here...I'll go get her." she said, in a huff.

Ithilwen nodded, quickly putting the dagger back in case someone else came with the body.

Finnar's children (reluctantley) brought her body down to the mound. It was a small funeral consisting of her children, Ithilwen, some of the nicer orcs and Din.

Ithilwen eyed the orcs and Finnar's children distrustfully. She noticed that a few eyed her back, some as a threat and some just as their Mistress' former slave. One or two looked like they might be calculating her resale value. She ignored them, focusing on the funeral. She stepped beside Din and put a hand on her shoulder, the only two Elves in the entire thing. She thought that Din felt as awkward as she did.
