She nodded back, entering the forge, and looked around. "What would you have me do now?" she asked. Vague was good, but specifics were what she needed.

"Could you get me a large pail of water?" he asked. "This needs to cool..."

She nodded, grabbing the pail and heading out to the well, happy to be doing something. The Witch-king would be pleased -- she had a job! Swishing the pail back and forth happily, she filled it with water and returned, putting it down beside him. Sweet Eru, his muscles were even more impressive close up! And the sweat . . . Could Sauron hurry up?

Glaruon smiled and shoved the small pices into the water, a large hiss as the metal cooled. He smiled and set it back down and sighed. "Thank you, now the small hammer, see it over on the wall there?"

She nodded, going to pick it up and bring it to him. It was small, but it was heavy!

"Thank you," he said with a smile. "I'll teach you how to keep for the forge hot in a little while, just let me finish this."

She nodded, happy to watch him work. He was, by far, the most attractive male of any race she had ever seen. In fact, she was rather dissapointed when he had finished.

Glauron looked up and smiled, wiping sweat from his face and moving to a corner and changing tunics. He hated going home sweaty for Ithilwen. She didn't seem to care, but he had changed every day for nearly thirty years. "You did well today," he told her with a smile.

She smiled under his praise. How fortunate she was, to have such an opportunity! "Thank you," she said. "When should I come back?"

She nodded. "I will," she said with a smile, then turned to leave. Much as she would like to, she knew that sticking around any longer would look suspicious. She would return the next day.

She nodded, and left.
Sure enough, she was back the next day. "I'm here!" she said, with a smile. He was lucky -- very few people saw her smile. Actually, this may be the first time since her parents' deaths.

Her eyes widened. "Sure!" she said. "But . . . well . . . there's one thing. I'm afraid of fire!"
